Has anyone frequented the establishment? I know a touch outside of SF, but I am on the peninsula nowdays. I have driven by a few times but always seem to be either late for somewhere or the store is closed.

I've been in it once so I can't say much for hours or stock as it was years ago but I seem to remember thinking that their other store in Santa Clara (?) was better.

Its alright in there, although Im not much of a brit food shopper.

The scotch woman behind the counter is friendly and always good for a laugh.

I do reccomend the Palestinian resturant on the corner though, great falafael and chicken, although its not very english!

When my husband and I were dating, we always drove past it (since he's British) - and we were never successful at finding it open! Eventually, we gave up. There is a good place in the Sunset - Roxie's for bacon, sausage (bangers?), crisps, chocolate (hmmmmmmmmchocolate), pasties, etc. We generally go and stock up there.
